Gregory Nespor

Gregory spent fifteen years working in Yosemite’s Wilderness as a park ranger before becoming a fly fishing guide in 2015 taking visitors fly fishing on his days off.

He loves teaching his clients fishing and sharing stories of Yosemite’s natural & human history. Having worked as a ranger naturalist and wilderness ranger, he’s learned a lot about Yosemite National Park.

Greg has worked for Tim Rajeff & Katherine Hart at Echo Fly Rods, frequently contributes to the Oregon Fly Fishing Blog for the Caddis Fly Shop based in Eugene, Oregon, teaches fly-tying classes, and loves searching for PNW steelhead on a spey rod.

Legendary fly-tyer and fisherman Randall Kaufmann once described Greg as “an incredible teacher who’s awesome with people.”
